Shadehawk was born to two unknown parents with the birtname of Shade. He was abandoned when he was a kit and had no other siblings. He somehow survived to adulthood. One day he was so hungry that he walked into the OceanClan camp to ask for a tiny bite of food. The deputy, Icewave, pited him and gave him a mouse. This enraged the leader of OceanClan so she banished Icewave and Shadehawk. The traveled to Leafclan were Icestar welcomed them into the ranks of Leafclan. He adopted a warrior named one moon later after joining the clan. He was often picked on by the other warriors because he is quite smal, and also because he is a forme rogue. Appleflower helped him to cope with this. He is the father of Icewave's kits who are named Fernkit, Thornit, and Flowerkit.
